Install PBNIGMA image to DOM > blue button > PB Centre > mount a fast USB memory stick > RESTART!

MENU > PLUGINS > Install OpenMultiBoot plugin.

FTP to the box > send a zipped image you want to flash (to USB stick from now on, not to DOM!) to /media/usb/open-multiboot-upload folder.

Go to OpenMultiBoot plugin and choose an image to install > it will go to restart...

When it restarts go to OMB plugin again and try to flash the image you just uploaded to the folder I mentioned, as will be obvious in the menu of the plugin...

Having installed the image to the USB stick - have fun experimenting...

Good luck! :)

and the installation stops.

I have no idea what you did.

YOU must tell us ALL that you have done, IN DETAIL and then maybe...

i installed pbnigma 5.1 (two times, the first one i did and a software update/upgrade), i pluged my usb stick, i formated and mounted it as /hdd, reboot, and i tried to install a few plugins, other with sucess, and other without. the openmultiboot plugin asks for "nandsim module" and can't find it.

First, mount USB as /media/usb

Second, you may have a wrong version of OMB plugin...

NAND is usually present in newer STBs, like ET, GB and alike...

AZbug has a DOM...

Try OpenATV into DOM first and then all the other ones...

I know of people who managed to install PB in DOM, then OMB and other images into USB stick...

Good luck! :)

first there isn't any change for the plugin if the usb stick is mounted as "/usb" or "/hdd" (i did it many times in other receivers) but for my curiosity i also tried it as /usb...same result.

second,if the openmultiboot plugin is "wrong version" in the feed of the image",i have wrong version.
just for info, there is one version of openmultiboot plugin and it "formed" according the image, using the receivers nandsim module.maybe only the "premium" model can support it...

Maybe.

But the info says not to mistake one version of the plugin (for one STB) for another (for another STB), so go figure...

all these,are o.m.b fixes.
in any case, when you try to install o.m.b, it asks image feed for nandsim kernel module (it is posted everywhere in o.m.b presentation). in azbox elite (i tried also in openatv) this is missing from the feed. so if we will find somewhere nandsim,we can give a try...

I asked for you here:

Code:

So far no one knows, sorry... I think you must ask Kajgan and co. on GigaBlue forums... And say HI from me! :)

gigablue team, did openmultiboot, and they offered this to the community,to modify it for any image/receiver. so i think that gigablue, has nothing to do with azbox, and someone by azbox team (maybe rti) could help.
never mind,
thank you for asking them, and if someone in the future will give us nandsim,we will try to use it

OpenRSI has new image, v. 4.5, I think...

New OpenSPA, also.

OpenATV?

But PB...

Hmm...

OpenRSI 4.5 for AzboxHD, where?
I tried searching for it, but only found for gigablue.

OpenSPA forum seems to be down. (openspa.info) But the downloadsection is still working. Look here for latest openspa downloads:
https://openspa.webhop.info/
latest at the moment is v.5.0.005, dated 14.february 2016.
