Could any owner of the receiver post some photos from the menus and write a few words about the box? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
not sure, whether this is the right place to post my question.
I'm totally new to the topic and I'm looking for some sort of introduction, how emu-firmware, softcam and keys are transferred to the C-Tech 4100HD.
Is it necessary to connect the receive to a pc?
Thanks in advance,
radigur

You only need the software upload and P a suitable Softcam for the EMU!Some programs, however, are already built into the firmware and since then you need not commit additional keys. With the C-tech softcam kargo.25 you can easily create a device for daily data.

Thanks for the answer.
However, I probably need more details.
I can update the firmware via USB file-manager, right?
(--> file extension STB)
But what about the softcam (***.ipk). Does this also work via USB?

It is a very good receiver. But it still has problems: it has freezes at some dvb-s2 8psk channels with low symbol rate and the indication of signal in db is wrong.

With version 1.21 the receiver shows now signal in db correctly.
Problems with dvb-s2 8psk channels with symbol rate <10000 are still here unfortunately.

i have just bougth the CT 4100 plus. A disaster. Even with an update the software architecture is caotic. No sat,fav, find, etc buttons. And worse, the box upload emus.softcam, but doesnt recognize them. I send the box back.
