network connection

i cant connect my db 500s in network.by dcc my pc doesnt find db.
what can do to fix it?

Hi, restart router and retart the box. Coootrol if your cpu go on the net.

i have restarted and changed the router, and the led of the cable goes in router is on,but db is not connected on the net.

or static conection?

When i use another dreambox in the place of this it works well.So router and cable are ok.
i know how to put ,and i put the ip manually but nothing to conncet by internet

check ur network settings, make sure ur box is the same network as your router(ie if router ip add 192.168.0.1 then ur box ip must be 192.168.0.x, x=2..254 and netmask 255.255.255.0, gatewate addr and nameserver = 192.168.0.1)

Try this and should work fine
IP - 192.168.0.x
Subnet - 255.255.255.0
Gateway - 192.168.0.1
nameserver 1 - 194.168.4.100
Nameserver 2 - 194.168.8.100
Some routers use 192.168.1.1 so amend your IP and Gateway to suite!
Eg -
IP - 192.168.1.x
Subnet - 255.255.255.0
Gateway - 192.168.1.1

I've been getting a lot of problems with the connection. Changing router and settings hasn't helped. Any other suggestions?
