movies on e2 info needed

trying to play an avi film on ipbox using enigma 2 and i put it on
hdd/movie but it is not there when i look,any ideas

also what files do normal sif image play and what do enigma2 sif images play

sorry if been asked before but i couldnt find much on it

or
menu > media player > internal flash > /divx

video player on dgs based image ,slow and very buggy
on e2 ,you can play xvid avi,vob,mpg,h264 mkv...

yes m8 k2k2000. no sound! i have the same problem with some avi,on my pc working good (with sound)but on e2 no way! any advies please?!.

yes you are right;
when divx+mp3 vbr, and mp3 with high bitrate.

Nothing happen this way! On previous release of e2 it was possible, but on this, subtitles doesn't appear. If i press subtitle button, the screen for choosing subtitles appear, but no subtitles to select. Subtitles and movie are in /hdd/movies/ Any other solution?

no problem here with srt subtitle..
press subtitle button to get the window subtitle selection.
ok to enable.
make sure you have
blabla.avi
blabla.srt
+try with others files ,maybe you have wrong character encoding in your srt file.

Thanks mate! The problem was in the name of subtitles. Now is working.
