Its very boarder line for me at this time, it may improve later in the day. If i could be bothered i could set the bigger 1.3m dish up but last year when i set it to 7w there really was nothing worth watching.
It's a satellite that seems to cater primarily to an arabic speaking audience. However, there are a few interesting programs on some channels.
So you can get AD Sports 1 & 2 on the strong MENA beam. It shows Serie A football during the season and the Coppa Italia. AD Sports 2
also shows NASCAR live and in English if you like US motorsport. A lot of MMA and wrestling is also shown on those channels. They advertise
the UFC fight nights and other UFC events. Again, it's all FTA. The Transponder/Polarity/Symbol Rate is 11411-H-30000.
Dubai One also shows movies like MBC2 in English, but watch out as any overt intimacy is edited. That seems to be a common theme for many
movies shown on the middle-eastern satellites. That is 12418-H-30000.
You can also pick up a lot of the Bein Sports channels, but only one of the Bein Sports clears for me. Even with my FS sub, it doesn't clear the
other Bein Sports channels that show English footy and a lot of other sports. The one that clears shows a lot of Arab League football, cycling,
all sorts, but nothing I particularly crave.
The MBC channels are quite good if you can pick up all of them. There are a lot more options on the middle-east beam which carries a few other
sports channels and the full OSN Movie and Series channels all in English. However, an an FYI, William-1 pointed out that since the beam became
a spot type, you would need at least a 2m+ to even get a hint of a signal.
So yes, not a great deal, but maybe a few interesting programs.
