make your language file enigma2.mo

some lnaguages are not included in default language pack
any one can add his language and publish for other
language file called enigma2.mo and stored in this path in dream(path for english language)

usr/share/enigma2/po/en/LC_MESSAGES

this file is binary and can not be edited so we need poedit program to do that
but poedit doesnot accept enigma2.mo file so i have attached one with po extension to be edited by this program

1- install poedit and run it
2- open the attached file enigma2.po
3- select row by row and translate what is written
4- after you have fininshed translation adjust settings from catalog menu

5-save file as po file and enigma2.mo file will be generated spontaneously
6- copy enigma2.mo file to new folder in path usr/share/enigma2/po named with you conutry code "id" as example and create subfolder called LC_MESSAGES and copy enigma2.mo file to this folder

for complete settings of language file language.py and lng-cach should be edited also

How can I convert an existing .mo file to .po type to use with poedit?

I want translate it for an AZbox, which uses .mo files, as Dream (I don't know if .mo files are the same in AZ as in DM,
so I prefer to read it before to use an original DM file.)

I've downloaded poedit-1.4.6-setup.exe from link in first post, and it installs msgunfmt.exe too.
After some tests, I've find how to convert files with this tool.

i did that and i can see the language in the Language Selection.

however, i think basic support is missing for the character set.

my main objective is to be able to see the Hebrew EPG of YES on Amos 4w. They broadcast the EPG in few languages, if I select Arabic I see the EPG in Arabic. But if I select Hebrew (after adding it) I still get the EPG in English.

Any Idea what makes the selection of the EPG language?
