there isn't newcamd, there is cccam and mgcamd, but i think that you have to read about oscam-emu.

a little search in google, will answer in many questions...

add line in cccam... just place it in cccam.cfg in /etc directory

in oscam... you need to convert it first, and than add it in oscam.server file (in etc/tuxbox/config/oscam-emu)

have you any idea from other images to compare? or what is this that you are using?
or just you think it is not user friendly without knowing what other images are...?
