little help please

i have a dm 500hd and am running cccam214 , some kind person has let me have a share or their cards , but im getting glitches tonight on 28e , when i look at cccam info on my pc its saying 214 shares , what does this mean ? is it good or bad as sometimes it says 100 shares and sometimes 280 shares , is it better to have a high number or low number and would this make picture glitch . thanks
