thats a stupid answer a dreambox is better
the same softcams are build in or to download
his question was about the ipbox 900
you don't need expecially the gbox or mgcamd
you need it for reading out you're smartcard but there's no smartcard reader insite this box
so you need a CI module like homecast mx1tc for you're card

Don't tell me what is stupid what is not.Check what dreambox have and what IPbox900 have.IPbox is very (simple)basic receiver copy of dreambox.And for dreambox are more and more...functions.....popular.You can't compare IPbox and Dreambox(Russian Lada and BMW).All is depend how much money you whant to spend.I have Dreambox7025 and IPbox900 big difference form eart to the moon.That is my opinion.I just was given you to understand that,to have idea to check before to spend some money.

Please swan2 it's a your idea about dreambox...for me the BMW is the IPBOX...tha hardware is another level upper then dreambox...and now with enigma2 the IPbox haven't competitors.

Are you kidding ? How can you compare DB7025 with HD receiver ? Is it joke or you have no idea what is HD TV ?
Besides DM800 is more expensive then IPBOX900HD, so DM800 do not have HDMI output ( only DVI, but it is only substitut, and never will be HDMI )
Well, dear swan2 can you imagine that pepole are watching HD channels as well ? So good luck with watching HD TV on your DM7025. And if you will buy in future DM800 - enjoy the view via HDMI on HD TV, and I mean Full HD, not HD ready

i tell you what is ipbox900 or 9000
lots of rubbish there is no good support for ipbox only sfteam
and lnb image none of this support cccam and very very slow changing channels crah all the time nothing stable
go for dreambox800 dream got 5 team 5 diffrent image
if you have a look sfteam image whos using it gemini nabilo far far better
all iam saying is dont waste your money to ipbox or az box pay 100 pound more buy dream and enjoy your life

I have no idea what car make U have, but better is Aston Martin. This is your answer on question asked in this thread. One have Fiat other Volvo. So who cares that DM800 is better ? Author of this thread have problem with basics. And even if he'll buy DM8000 or DM8000000 it wount solve his problems.
