ipbox910hd your experience

Hi,
I've been trying to get it working with HD channels for few weeks and had no luck so far. I can only get the fta Anixe HD to work. With E2 images the signal level & quality is unusable.
Now thinking of going back to dream and getting the 8000.
So, at this moment I would say.... Don't buy it.

I have a 910HD and I have enigma2 on usb. I have Canal Digital and couple cards to, I have no problem with HD channels.
Enigma2 can be a bit unstable, but I will survive it.
Ipbox910 in its entirety, I believe is better than DM 800, when considering the price. But you can play everything with it, and even if enigma2 is a bit unstable, one must see that enigma2 is still beta on this box
And one can not compare the img to ipbox and DM, as DM have been much longer on the market. And has a much better forum to help

Maybe you have the older tuner module in your box? No HD with the new STV0903 module.

It seems that ipbox have similar problem with tuners like some DMs on HD channels?!? I have read that some DMs are reseting when you go on HD channel, its like a lottery you never know how good tuner you will get in the box.
So there is few tuner versions for ipbox also?!?

I have had a a 910HD for about a year now, I must say it's a mixed pleasure when coming from a Dreambox.
I use Cardsharing on it and in many ways it functions ok, BUT:
- When it has been closed it tends to"loose/forget" it's IP and has to be assigned a new one.
- Imo. menus and setup aint as good as on the Dreambox, but that is a matter of taste I guess.
- After moving recently I hooked it up again and to my dismay, many of my HD channels aren't working anymore, that can probably be fixed with an image update, but still, it's annoying.
In retrospect I would probably have bought a DM 800HD, if I could go back in time

No problem with the IPbox 910 , is very good, i use it here with SIF 11102 image and rusn very very nice , much betetr then Enigma2 , more stable and beter picture quality then a dreambox 800
I have both dm 800 ipbox 910 and i use ipbox 910 as it is rock solid stable , while dm 800 i must reboot all the time
IPbox 910 with new sharp tuners have some problems with HD and Enigma2 , but then you have Enigma1 that works very nice
Other wise use the DGS based image, like NLB , Sif , ETC, they work so good

i have also had this box for 1 year and i have had lots of problems with it but runs ok but not like i would had hoped for.
i also use it for cs(or else i would have never got it for normal use)
i will 100% get the dm 500hd and have the 910 as 2nd or sell it.
after 1 year this box is still beta and that should say alot.
