The Intelsat 29e satellite designed by Boeing is inoperative due to a break

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Intelsat satellite telecommunications Intelsat 29e suffered a break and became inoperative after operating only three years of the 15 guaranteed by its designer, the American Boeing.
"On April 7, the engine of the Intelsat 29e suffered a rupture causing the spill of fuel and the cessation of normal operation," says a note published on the Intelsat website.
Two days later, during the repair work by remote control, the satellite suffered another mishap that caused the loss of communication.
Intelsat now tries, together with Boeing, to reestablish the communication and at the same time is transferring the users of the damaged satellite to other space devices.
