Guide:
Howto flash a DM500+ on network only.
mount /boot -o remount,rw
rm /boot/*
reboot
Dreambox disconects (after 1-2 messages) and reboots.

Howto flash a DM500+ on network only.
1: Connect the dreambox to network and TV, and turn it on.
2: Find the IP it gets
--- Menu => Setup => Expert setup => Communication setup
3: Connect to DM500+ with a telnetclient (PuTTY, eg. ) (telnet your dreamboxip - login "root")
4: type following comands (enter after each line):
Code:mount /boot -o remount,rw
rm /boot/*
reboot
Dreambox disconects (after 1-2 messages) and reboots.
5: Open a browser (eg. firefox / opera / ie)
6: type the ipadresse of the dreambox
7: follow the instructions like a 7020
8: Navigate to the image you want to flash, and press FLASH
9: When it reach 100% just restart the box (with the powerbutton, or turn of power)
10: Enjoy
Important:
- This is ONLY for DM500+ (NOT DM500S or DM500C)
- You can NOT use images for DM500S/C - ONLY image for DM500+ (.nfi files)
- Because this is not descripted by Dream Multimedia GmbH it is own risk , like all flashing of uoriginal images.
