I successfully talked with Yamon in Azbox Elite HD. However, when I get to step for copying file "backup_kernel" to MMP folder, it starts the transfer but ends abruptly and doesnt copy over. It then shows file size in Azbox as 0 bytes. I have made several attempts, but always the same. I am using Filezilla. I had disabled antivirus and win firewall, but still same problem.

I am wondering if someone else has had same trouble and how to cure this. It seems as though the az might be blocking the upload of certain files, because when I have this problem, if I rename them they will usually upload. It doesnt show any file in the az, and when it does I delete it, but still problem persists.

Help!

Have you checked if MMP is writeable to? Must change that, if not...

Why are you doing it, if I may ask?

I was attempting to try openatv. In the process of uploading to stb, power glitch rendered box inoperable. It is stuck in booting. I have obtained a usb serial to TTY cable. With putty, I can talk to box, but having trouble writing restore file to mmc folder. I did try chmod, and it looks OK, but after move, file shows 0 bytes. I can however, in putty, delete the old file in linux rm command. But its like its still there write protected. Like I said, folder is 755. I can write a different file there, or rename something else. Strange.
