Help! Vu stuck while updating image!

Please I need some help! I tried to update the VU Duo with the latest version of VTI downloaded from this forum (version 5.0) via USB. But it's now stuck with Programming for the last 40 minutes!

Can I switch the receiver off and try again or this will cause the receiver to totally crash and not be able to work again???

What can I do as I don't want to ruin the receiver!!!!

i think you use blackhole on flash and vti on usb
yes you can switch the receiver of , dont worry
and remove the usb from the reciever and see if blackhole still working or not
any way you can reflash your reciever

Update process often does not succeed through usb
and it Cause many problems for the image on the internal flash (blackhole)

Hi, you can switch of and try again as much as you wish. And try other images too.
But... Did you change the old bootloader with new ( duo_cfe_3_0_usb.zip ) ?

Many images are still going into the box with vu-util_v2.0.1 ... I now this - because i am waiting for the new vu Duo regulator Pz 1021ai and universal name isAOZ1212 - to replace it .

thank you guys, I was just changing the image from VIX to VTI, after I rebooted the system it started with the new image without any problem without the need to re-flash it!!!

Next time i would flash using usb stick its mutch faster and safer than using then usb flash tools and cable....

Only use flash tools to flash a new bootloader image or if something is wrong...
