Hi!

I am having some trouble using cwfinder. When I take a .ts file posted it always works well in cwfiner. But if I try to make a .ts by myself CW finder says this:

CPU support MMX and SSE2 instructions...
Using SSE2 CSA library...
File open ...
Searching for two scrambled payload TS packets ...
ERROR ->END OF FILE.

I use dvbviewer pro, and to create the .ts file I just use recording for 10-15 seconds, to get a 3 Mb file more or less.

Anyone knows why it does not work?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

thanks a lot, ManSour NeghiMish.

Do you know if I can install progdvb without removing dvbviewer? If you think it will not cause any trouble, of course, I will be very interested in knowing how to do it with progdvb!

Ok,
Open the prog
And stop on a channel,
From menu bar choose
Service
Then
PID Recorder Ok
Press Start
See the time down ,record until 15 seconds, then STOP.
To be sure of the ts file try it in CW finder and don’t forget to put Vpid value at first.
Tested on ODIE channel on Hellasat.

I installed progdvb, but I have problems to make it work. When i execute it a message apperas saying "[sky star 2] device not started".

I tried to solve it but I could not. Some people recomend to install again the skystars drivers, but I would prefer not doing that, since now everything is working properly in dvbviewer.

Do you know if there is any solution for this? Or, is there anybody who uses dvbviewer?

It seems that you are just recording, isnot it? So if I record with dvbviewer, why does not work? I cannot understand!

anyway, thanks a lot for your help, ManSour

Hi!! I cant believe it is almost two years since I tried to record ts files using progdvb for the same time! Now everything is working better, but not good enough.

I was able to set up progdvb and view channels. I can also record biss encrypted channels following your help.

However, I am not able to lock (to find) dvbs2 channels. I can find them with my azbox, so everything is fine with signal, but not with progdvb. Since using dvbviewer I have to use transedit to find this kind of channels, do you know if there is something special to be done with progdvb to view dvbs2?

thanks!!

PD by settig up progdvb I lost dvbviewer and transedit :(the dont find the skystar now).

Yes m8 crypt8 method over now as no crypt8 is being broadcast or fake crypt8 to give the wrong bi$$ key.

TheHighLander, apart from my problems with s2, the ts files I get using progdvb following your instructions are smaller that they should be. In your pic you get 5Mb in 1 second, while I only get about 50KB each second.

In the end the files I get are not suitable for cwfinder. Do you know what can be happening?

thanks
