Help please SKY UK cable Cannels

I have a problem my SKY UK cable cannel is gone I was using the X cruiser w3105ZN, I just bought the Technomate TM500 and I don’t know how to use it I thing I need a software. Please advise me which box is working at the moment for SKY uk

i think your all confusing each other here.

for starters its SKY UK SATELLITE not SKY UK CABLE. sky uk dont have a cable network they only have a few channels broadcasting over the uk cable network.

now thats out of the way as suggested unless you have a CS you wont get any thing from sky uk as it has not been cracked in any other way and p.s uk cable is nagra 3 sky uk satellite is encrypted in VIDEOGUARD

Virgin Media replaced there old (and well compromised) Nagravision1 encryption with the new (Unhacked) secure Nagravision3 encryption system.

Yes this thread as the thread title suggests was about Sky channels previosly got via X cruiser w3105ZN on Cable not Satellite. The title is a little misleading, but Sky channels are available on Virgin Media's Cable platform in the UK and on Sky's Satellite platform.

Your new Technomate TM500 box I take it is for Satellite reception (you don't even mention you've switched from Cable reception to Satellite reception in your first post but were assuming you have......always give full infos when you post otherwise you'll get confusion!!!!).

With your new box you will only get the Sky channels with CS (Card Sharing) from Satellite (and this is NOT a Card Share forum) but something like CCam (latest) should work.

i think TM 500 is for satellite
and the ntl ovirgin are in cable boxes.

Only boxes working in UK at the moment are the Kryptview A780 and the Starview HD combo.
