Dear friend try to redownload the latset software from here www.srsupport.com and then activate by showing the menu + 8888 , I mean that you maynot approperly downloaded the software that is the problem , when downloading there should be bar showin upgrade by 00% untill 100 % and then it reboot and operate with the 8888 .

dear sloga i did exactly what you said and updated two time with the latest software but still not having the serial port option in entertainment to use the dongle in twin protocol, and i do not use the internet with the receiver, but you mentioned to to press menu + 8888 and to disconnect cccaminternet, so how to do this ? and how to get the serial port in the menu ? thank you again.
