Help Abracadabra smart card not detected

Can anybody help me out of this problem?
i reset my receiver back to factory default
and now the smart card is no longer detected
by my receiver.(El3020IR plus).
thanks.

you shouldnt need to re-flash your box after a factory default but you will have to turn the emu back on. just going of my experiences with a el 3020 super and el3020 plus:)

thanks for yur suggestion on the problem i have for the smart card not being detected again(el3020ir plus)after i reset back to factory defaul.

But i do not know how to do patching.
can you guide me?

go to menu then system setup then serial port use choose internal smart card then press ok .
i think this will enable the detection of smart card.

It’s easy my friend.
You have to update your receiver with the file of 30/11/08 after you update it with the last update 18/10/09 % go to menu then system setup then serial port use choose internal smart card then press ok .

The problem is that i reset my receiver to Factory Default which rendered my smart card undetected.

May be u have wrong in setting ur serial port !!!
if ur serial port set as any option except internet smart card u smart card will not detect !!!
