I encountered problems with my Gigablue ue 4k with 6.4 openatv. I got a blue screen and then the message that after 3 times the box would reboot. And then it starts again. I updated my box to a 7.x software and there I had the problem that disecq 1.1 (I use 16 lnb's for 16 different satellites) doesn't switch. I only received the satellite on port 1 (in my case it is Turksat). In tunerconfiguration I can Turksat give all the 16 ports, I keep still receiving it. So the disecq switch doesn't switch. I downgraded now to openatv 6.3 of 2020.03.02 and that works (the disecq switch itself works). The 6.3 software of 2021.01.13 doesn't work. How can I upgrade tot a more recent software and keep the disecq switch working.

Looks like a question for OpenATV themselves.
We dont have any members of that team on here.
Why dont you try other image groups OpenPLI TeamBlue or Open Blackhole.
I dont use such a switch so i can not say if any of the above will work or not.

What do you mean as "bloat"?
I think that Openvix has the best menu structure and all settings are very clear and well explained.
Clearer than many other images including Openatv, a little bit messy in my opinion.
No Freesat here (I'm not in the UK).

It has plugins and options i dont need.
I like OpenPLI it really is basic and ill add only what i personally require my sat setup to have.
I tried openpli 9.0 but that didn't work either. It looks like the Gigablue can't handle new software, or the new softwares are not compatible with the gigablue ue 4k.
