i was having a lot of problems for the last few nights, with reccording, zapping, skins, pluguins.
i found out that this reciever is a bit fussy,
first i had an isue with the recording and then zapping, the box freezes after been on a chanel for litel while,
turned out it was a hard drive problem, mine was about three or years old therefor it was getting slower and hother to run and when a drive gets hot, it craches.
changed the drive to a new one and its running as smooth as a knife in butter.
now the zapping and the skin, if there a the tinyest incompatibilty in ur skin with ur image
the box will crash especially if ur using picons so make sure the skin is very compatible with the image
the one i found very good looking and extreamly compatible is dreamtv hd, its compatible with all four images.
and last is zapp speed and thats due mainly to the encription and the softcam but mostly where the picons are located, for best result put ur picons on the internal flash,
if ur woried about space put them in a usb but not on the hard drive cause it cause to standby
mode depending on how long ur keeping it running if drive is on stand by it take ur channel longer to change caus its looking for its picon witch in some cases caus it to crach.
this is my personal experience with this box for the last monthi just managed to get it running extreamly well after
alot of image testing and fidling i will wait to put the new dream elite on it and give it a litel rest on till
