Hello all
i was in a discussion with a friend and we wondered about the big jump in receivers' processor speed and RAM.
e.g. Vu+ Solo2 and Duo2 will jump from 400 MHz to 1,3 GHz processor and will have 1 and 2 GB RAM respectively !!
the Gigablue Quad has 1,3 GHz processor compared with 333MHz only in Gigablue 800 SE ?
the question is, what are the benefits of all this power ? and what will consume all this power ?
as TV viewers, will this 3x faster specs make our TV experience better ?..will CS be faster ?
the current boxes are doing very good job with HD and 3D channels with only around 400 MHz processor
waiting ur opinions
