Cannes, November 23, 2022 – The EUTELSAT 10B communications satellite, built by Thales Alenia Space, a joint venture between Thales (67%) and Leonardo (33%), has been successfully launched by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida.

This satellite is equipped with two Ku-band High-overput Satellite (HTS) payloads: a high-capacity payload covering the North Atlantic corridor, Europe, and the Mediterranean and Central Basin. eastward, ensuring high speeds on some of the planet's densest air and sea traffic routes, and a second payload aims to extend coverage to the Atlantic, Africa and Indian Oceans.
These two payloads make it possible to exploit more than 50GHz of bandwidth for a transfer rate of approximately 35Gbps.
