et5000 open pli 4.0 question

hi I have down loaded the following file openpli4.0-beta-et5x00-20140129 I am currently on pli 3.0 I am trying to up date but I cant remember how the file should be on the usb stick I have tried to put it directly on to the usb then tried to update the stb but no luck? when I down loaded previous updates they came as a rar file so when extracted they came in a folder which you just put on the usb and updated with the process so do I need to make a folder for the zip file to go into and what should I call the file pleas.

unzip the file and you have the folder xx00. there are some files and there is a file named "noforce" .rename that file to "force" and try again
