THIS PLUGIN WILL NOT WORK ON OTHER BOXES THAN THE TECHNOMATES,
TM910x , trying to run it on the eagle , dreambox and other stbs will reset
your engima interface.
This plugin is an alpha release, therefore it may have unknown bugs and be
unfinished.
** update - this update should work with EDG images as it now checks the
hardware instead of other variables.
This plugin requires hard disk or mmc for storing the cached data. It will not
display any data without it. Users without but have a network can map /hdd
or /mmc to the network.
Copy the extepg.so and extept.cfg files to your plugins directory.
Chmod 755 extepg.so (if you need to)
Put url file into var/etc, it doesnt need to be chmod
Press 1 to go back 24hrs
Press 2 to go forward 24 hrs
Press red to set the timer (It just lauches the timer at the moment,
it doesnt pass values except the channel and current time)
Press green to search the channels you have cached onto the machine
for whats on.
Press yellow for setup options and deleting cached channels
Press blue for about box
Whilst in the list view of the guide, highlight a program and press ok to see
the information it has, if it has extended information an extra button will
show to select.
Channels vary in the amount of guide there is, the uk channels have about
13 days whilst all others could be from as little as 2, up to 7 and some have
14 days.
Some other epgs use the name extepg.so because that will put it into the
epg menu. If you want to keep your existing extepg (if you have) you can
rename this plugin and its config file.
