Enigma 2/ externe hd /ipbox 900 Hd Help please !?

Have tried to install enigma 2 on WD usb externe hd but no result,i need help to get it working please.

how did you proceed exactly?

hdd must be formatted in linux ext2 or ext3 otherwise doesnt work.

have installed pkt mod 6.0 after having use multiboot ipbox9xxx serie but no go!

Not all HDD's are compatible with IPboX.
As from the log you provided,it sees your HDD only like a storage/recording device.
I had the same problem and it seems that the hard disk wasn't properly formatted.
The solution I found,was to format the HDD with a software called Paragon Partition Manager V10(a program for Windows that can format any USB stick,HDD's also in ext3,ext2 or any linux partitions.....cool)
Then follow the intalling without the commands for partitioning in telnet:
-mount -->enter
-sync -->enter
-cd /mnt/usb/usb0 -->enter
-tar xzvf enigma2.tar.gz
-sync
restart box from the backbutton while pressing number 2 on the remote.

thank you for ur post . i have paragon disk manager,i m going to format my hd ext3.i have used this hd befor for enigma2(thanks to k2k2000)and it was working very fast. i hoop to get it working after that.
