Hi!

I have 91HD but i think it doesn't matter, so:

Switch on the box and push button 2 on rc before displayed "boot", until you read: "multi" than push again 2 and wait!

Sorry my english, i write from hungary.

this was image i try

http://www.sat-universe.com/showthread.php?t=133188

Press number button which you want on RCU when start decoder.
Multiboot function supports as below style.
# 1 boot with CDKroot(NFS)
# 2 boot from USB memory stick, with internal HDD
# 3 original images as current flash memory
# 4 boot with NFS
# 5 boot from USB memory stick, but without internal HDD
# 6 boot from internal SATA HDD
# 7 boot from flash memory for another image

after flashing that i put e2 image into media folder,i then telnet to box
cd /media
tar xzf 9000_usb.tar.gz
sync
sync

afer that i reboot box and press 6......

it stays stuck on booting

From thr above it looks like you have another version of e2 on your disk
with is the reason for the (Read-only file system)

I would Use
Installations Utility Enigma 1/2
from here http://www.sat-universe.com/showthread.php?t=144540
Its easy to use Here is a litttle guide

Step 1: Under the setup tab select the type of image you have on your box! then enter your boxes ip/password.
After that click connect!

Step 2: Cick the format tab! then select your disk from the device dropdown..Sda1 is normaly your harddisk and sdb1 is your usb device!
After selcecting your device click unmount!
then click format!
Now wait untill your hdd is formated it will give the message in the consol window!
After this click Mount...

step3 click open e2 and select your tar.gz image. now click copy... then click unpack..
it will now install e2 to your hard disk!
after its done! if you like you can install extra fixes and stuff from the addons button! the add mboot is needed to edit your boot commands in the multiboot tab!
This only works after you are in e2 so you have to install one of the other multoboots that are going around. some images allready have the multiboot installed!

Hope this helps....
If you need anyhelp m8 let me know i can help you on msn if you like!

you need to fdisk to just one partition m8!

so you have just sda1 if you have both then the e2 wont boot!

you can use 2 partitions but you need to do all manualy and make sure sda1 is your main partition and not a swap!

The enigmaUI should sort your partitions out just click fdisk button before step 2 m8 and it should run all the commands needed to get just sda1 on your box! then run step 2 and 3 again and all should be ok
