hi iam new to this kind of work. little knowledge but not enough.
I purchase from friend dm800orignal. already blackhole on usb.i attached eathernet cable with box.
now I wants to delete all, and you tell me which is the best latest image. and how do I install.
please can you tell me how to start from step one .

hi I delete my usb loaded image , than I fresh instal inf dream ellite dr04 inf on my desktop, than dreamup ip .and open ie exploer web interface dreambox open. I chose dream elite inf image. but when I click FLASH nothing happen? plz reply .

turn your box off then back on and hold the front power button in,you will see stop and an IP on the led screen put that ip into your url then choose firmware upgrade then flash,browse and locate the image click on flash wait for it to finish then reboot

many thanks, yes I did same. ip address come red light flashing stop and 192..... this ip than I put internet explorer web interface page open. I chose .inf image as u given link very last there are 2 image dream elite I select first one, and 2nd is light vers, but when I click FLASH its nothing happen.
on webinterface I click DEVICE INFO UPGRADE... but flash CLICK NOTHING HAPPEN

yes firmware upgrade then click on flash,after you click flash the webpage should change and the flash should start you should see the flash porgress bar.

are you doing this by wireless or hard wired i mean is the pc/laptop directly conected to the router aswell as the dreambox

i tried both , i connected my eathernet cable with router an.d router connected with pc wired, but i tried wirless as well..dm flash page open , i can select image ,but when i clik flash its nothing show? i dont understand. i reboot rooter and pc and ip change as well but . i put usb stick on 2nd slot

may be dream eleite image is not the one ? buut i select from very last dream eleite when i extract to desktop. its show.DE4004... .inf.. 54mb

you dont need the usb stick just unzip the image to your desktop and choose that location when you flash, click flash browse locate choose desktop click on the image.nfi and click flash again and it should start.

but its not happen to me, i done exactly as u explain, click flash its nothing show progress.. i dont understand why everything perfect

no i try without usb in dm, may be .inf is crupt or wrong , after click FLASH .. nothing happen, .dream ellite i unzip the link u given very last page there are 2 image i download 1.

ohh thanks I check my dm800 has 75 loader how do I download 2nd stage 84 loader and plz wot else I need to downld befr. at the moment I just junload dreamelin .inf ..only

finally for your helps specialy brummie I install dream ellite image. successful.. but wot else I needs to install to enjoy full.

i have not got my 800se on at the moment using my uno, press the blue button and you will see addons,i think you have to press another colour button the get to it,then go down to manually install i think the files have to be tbz2,if it is go here http://www.sat-universe.com/showpost.php?p=749114&postcount=47 download and ftp it to tmp as it zipped up. then blue button addons manual install you will see the file and press ok to install it, after that reboot then pres the blue button and you will see 1 cam installed press the > button and select CCcam 2.2.1 and press ok that will start the cam.

i know the cam states its for edge nemisis but it worked ok on my DM800se using the same image you have installed

unzip DNA-Updater_V0.6 copy to tmp folder install manual or with telnet...... opkg install /tmp/*.ipk
after reboot your dream
to download softcam key:D
