I have an old 500hd box lying around that I want to try and make use of it strictly for IPTV and movie-rips/player however I have no idea where to start, which bootloader and which image to use to make it a reality.
If I don't try and do this then I might as well throw the box away and I was about to but then decided to give it a chance.
The issues is that there's at least 2 of everything around and when it comes to drivers, images, bootloaders, patches and so on it makes it impossible to follow because I never followed the progress and changes that took place since 2009.
The box is a clone, has a black PCB with a 2-port USB board fixed internally. The SIM is white with sim210 printed on it. It has a Mini USB service port on the back.
It's running Dream Elite Blackhole/Enigma 2010-06-01-experimental, with 79-r1 secondstage and 2.6.18-7.3 driver.
So, dear people could someone help me start the ball rolling?
I need to establish which box I have and what works with it along with the files required, like utilities/winOS-drivers to start trying out compatible contributions that are here and elsewhere.
