dm500hd tuner problem any fix ?

hi all just got one of theese dm500hd clone with ferrari sim inside. i just keep getting tuner failed message all the time sometime its ok but some channels i have to keep changing back and fourth,,

i have herd that some people have had similar problems but i dont know if this is a big problem any suggestion or advice or knowledge of this problem so i can rule out hard ware thanks guys

That error is not always down to the tuner it could be a switch error if you have one in your system or even a long run a coax.

hmmm i know it noe signal related because i have another tuner and no such problem..

the issue is software or something else but not my signal ..

what is ment by switch error please

Do you have a diseqc switch inline ?

no i dont just a staight connection to the motor. diseqc 1.2

i have tryed the dm on simple and advanced i tryed resetting
i tryed channel list i tryed manual retune and still problem..

This is what i do to fix i keep flicking the channels and the channels that say no signal eventualy they come back sometimes with in one minute and other times with in 15 mins ,,, so annoying..... so m not think it is oveheating....

certain channels always stay on like sky sport 3 hd but important channes grrr there ones effected.

i have not tried many images only a few but now i have latest gp3 is it driver problem or something also tuner on this box looks very cheep just imput and no out put me was wondering if it poss to adapt difrrent tuner

i thankyou most kindly for any advice pls one more thing i notice is this im watch a channel that i have taken 15 mins to get on or one of the channels that get effected and say i flick to another channel and flick back to the channel i was watching it will sometimes go to no signal
.. so maybe memory or something i dunnooo

just some more info i know this is not cam related as its not the internet that drops of its the actually signal ,, can any other members with this box have same problem ?

Is your power supply 12V 3.0A ?! If no then this is the problem for you,if yes then see the switch or the configuration smth you are doing it wrong.
If none of them doesn't fix your problem then it's the turner itself so buy a new one.

thank you that was the problem, the charger that was with it was 300 mili amp, i swapped it over for 2.0a, not quite as strong as 3.0a, but it seems to have done the trick, thankyou
