i still don't get this whole thing bout original and payserver

how can i tell teh difference.. and can i switch to an original software.. do i want to swtich to an original software.. is there like an explaination thread somewhere

Hi I do not understand the whole thing around Visionnet 8000. Are they still on business, I see this receiver beeing sold in various places, but it seems there is no support anymore.
Does anyone has an idea?

I understand from dxdy that both 2.03 and 1.69 are reliable.
The explanation how to get the Smartcard option in Menu is very well explained.
In my case I am using a cam in my VN8000CIS in another room and can see the same channels I can access with my DM & Hummy.

yes, official support is dead 2 years ago but selling for reason for use with payservers...
