Defragging The Dreambox?

Hi All,
Here's a question I have often thought about....

We all know that you should keep your home PC in tip top working order but what about the good old Dreambox, which after all MUST require some maintainance, OR DOES IT?

1. Is it possible that the Dream can get infected with a virus, and should we install any kind of protection?

2. What about the actual Hard Drive, does it become Defragmented, like our pc's?

3. We ofter "Clean" our pc's of "spyware" and the loke, does the Dreambox require any attention?

4. What clever "Tweaks" are out there, that will improve the performance of our machines?

These might sound like daft questions BUT, you never know!

Any thoughts from you guys??????

It doesn't really need as much attention as PC. You can just try to keep away from installing plugins/addons/skins etc. that you won't use much or use at all. If it is connected to internet people should restrict access on ftp,telnet,ssh or http ports to lan or at least make sure that password is not default one.
And hard drive doesn't need defragmenting when linux is used.
