Channel 4 has added its first slate of programmes to the video section of the UK iTunes Store. Included in the package are dramas Skins, Shameless and Teachers, comedies Black Books, Spaced and Peep Show; and the Dr David Starkey fronted documentary series Monarchy. The programmes are priced at Apple’s regular £1.89. It is the first time that Apple users have been able to access shows from Channel 4 given the PC-centric environment of the 4oD download portal.

Skins, which has been heavily promoted through its own website, has already made it to the number one slot in Apple’s Top 10 TV Series. In all seven Channel 4 series are in the top ten, which also includes BBC Worldwide’s Life on Mars and three episodes of Wallace and Gromit.

Content from Hanna Barbera and Shorts TV has also recently been added to the iTunes Shop.
