oscam-svn11148-mips-tuxbox-oe2.0-webif-libusb-ssl-Distribution

chmod to 755 but it just wont start,in softcam manager it says starting but just goes back to saying press green to start, when i put my old binary back in it starts fine.

11148?
well,
1) ask in the forum where you took that version of oscam.
Or to those who have compiled that version.

2) Rename the bin exactly the same name your previous oscam bin.

I got it from here mate
http://download.oscam.cc/index.php?&direction=0&order=mod&directory=1.20_TRUNK/mips-tuxbox-oe2.0

I have renamed it exactly as it was so that the softcam manager would recognise it...earlier versions work fine this way but later versions do not so not sure whats changed

1) meanwhile know that thet forum is not a oscam official forum .

2) and then again you have to ask those who have compiled that version,
It could be filled(compiled) in the wrong

3) For my part I can only tell you to download from this forum ... (but not that 11148 version on the forum).

4) not always the latest version is the best for us

Telnet or ssh to the box, then run it manually
Change to folder where oscam is stored and then type:

./oscam -b
