I would be amazed if someone could just come here and just reply with a straight-forward and informative reply. I have tried and tried on different forums, but either get rude, dry, short replies with no good answer, or no replies at all. I know what I'm asking can't be 'that' hard.

Anyway, just ordered a subscription encrypted channel from WorldTV/Globcast. It's the Armenian public TV channel on Galaxy 19, 97.0W. I currently already have an FTA PC DVB-S2 receiver with respective dish and nagravision card reader (CAM) waiting to go using DVB Dream. The only problem is... WorldTV/Globcast WONT ACTIVATE/MARRY MY FREAKIN SMARTCARD TO MY PC'S RECEIVER!

Im just going to explain what and how I "think" things are. Hopefully, I came close. What I'm hoping is someone can explain in reality how to do this step-by-step (meant for a complete novice).. including the software, steps and settings necessary to get this up and running. In anticipation for this, I ordered a Infinity usb phoenix programmer while waiting for my WorldTV receiver and smart card to arrive.

WorldTV/Globcast wont activate the smart card in a “not approved” hardware. However, my theory requires that you obtain a legal subscription with an “approved” receiver and then activate that card on that receiver (that's what i plan to do.). Then once the card is activated you should be able to remove the card, capture the BOXKEY (this BOXKEY is like a MAC address in the fact that there are no two receivers with the same BOXKEY, it individually identifies that exact peace of hardware) from the receiver’s TSOP via a JTAG interface, discard the receiver, and decode signal via the card and the help of an aftermarket CAM with the receivers BOXKEY programmed into it. The cam you use will have to support Dish networks version of NAGRAVISION, which has a BOXKEY field. This BOXKEY is what marries your smartcard to a specific receiver. With the correct BOXKEY programmed into a compatible cam (the MATRIX CAMs are all ones that can do it) the smart card would not know the difference between the real receiver and the aftermarket CAM because the CAM now has the same BOXKEY as the receiver you activated the card on.

Thanks in advance guys! I really hope this will be the forum for me that I can call my home. You guys wouldnt believe all the jerks out there who dont want to share their wealth of information.

Sincerely,
MKANET
