Sky's Android apps have been hacked into and replaced by the Syrian Electronic Army.
The anonymous group revealed that they had targeted the apps by posting their logo and the words "Syrian Electronic Army was here" in the description box on each app's page on Google Play.
The Sky Help Team warned users on Sunday (May 26) at 1.25am BST to take precautions if they had downloaded the Sky Go, Sky+, Sky WiFi, Sky News, Sky Sports Football or Sky Sports News apps for Android.
They tweeted: "All Sky's Android apps were hacked and replaced... please uninstall it, And we will let you know when it will be available."
The Syrian Electronic Army have been responsible for a number of hackings of prominent media portals within the last few weeks, including the Financial Times's website and Twitter accounts.
