The Abcom/Cube Revo boxes are good boxes. They do a lot of things, that even more expensive boxes s.t. don´t. Using HDMI connection, the picture quality with free hdtv channels should be flawless and excellent on your tv set.
But Abcom/Cube revo boxes have problems with encrypted HDTV channels, especially with S*Y.
If you have a look at the descriptions of all downloadable images (enigma or not, official or alternative) for your box, you will always find this "encrypted hdtv problem" being described under "known issues". You won´t get rid of it. It could only be solved by the company.
Perhaps one day (I doubt it) they will find a way to write a firmware, which eliminates this problem.
Free HDTV channels should show up properly, though (Anixe, Arte HD, etc.)
If you experience problems with these free channels, you may of course have a chance to get rid of your box`s nasty behaviour.
You can try another firmware.
You can defrag your harddisk.
You can change harddisk 3.5 to 2.5. Notebook Harddisks don´t get that hot and then you don´t need the fan to be running, which might in few cases even be the reason for disturbances.
You can try to run your box without timeshift.
You can change tuner, if faulty (but in most cases it´s working as intended)
You can change to a better dish (if you got a small one)
You can send your box to your dealer for repair and so on.
Lots of ways
But, if you want flawless reception of encrypted hdtv - i´m sorry - you will have to buy another box or live with what you got.
