Biss key wont save

Guys I have looked but can not find the answer.

I have a TM5402 MK3, when I enter Biss key if the biss key ends with same letter it will not save and changes.

Example today we have key for a feed on 10.0e that ends in FF
I enter key and save but it changes to FE the second I press save.

Any ideas ?

The Technomate corrects check digits in keys.

And the 4th and 8th bit of biss keys eg:

00 00 00 XX 00 00 00 XX

are check digits.....


[Red = Check Digits]

Do not make any difference to anything so if the last digits is posted as FF and it changes it to FE. FE should actually be the correct check digit and the channel/feed should still open!

Which thread/key/biss feed/channel are you trying to open because it should still work with FE at the end instead of FF if the rest of the posted key is correct!!

It was that one mate. It looks like it has now changed key any way for the Capital cup.

I'll go and try that key.

Update this now works, looks like I was too late with old key.

44+DD+DD = 1FE .... hmm so FE was/is correct

tried it on my technomate by entering 00 at the end and technomate changes it to FE........which is right

Mate could have sworn when post was first made it said FF, I wrote it down and went away to other room to try.

Just learned something new any way, so the important ones are the 4th and 8th.
