Best image for IP9000

Hi,

So, many images about what image do you rate and why over the others . I have tried a number and each have there own merites.
Boot up speed ,updates and stable .

Like to see peopels thoughts.:thum:

What does PKT offer over the others . I have noticed that when upgrading the flash versions you loose sight of the hard drive and have to re-formate. Usually run NLB version on flash.

i run last PKT from usb and working correctly with my HDD (maxtor 160GB sata).
this img is very stable with incubus & cs........

I note that you have a few images on different mounts sdb1 sdb2 etc, are these all on the same usb stick? Just learning at moment and want to try different images, whats the best way of doing it.

I run images with this usb flash

from SifTeam Extreme Edition 1.0 v.0.9.7
with bootplus 2.3 & install e2 script from rc :thum:

Hi again, does boot plus allow you to split up the ub stick into the different sdbs, sorry to sound so basic, I don't quite understand mounting... in the computer sense of course!!! LOL

it's easy for first time to start with SifTeam Extreme Edition in the flash [this img has everything you need for copying partitions,format,bootplus,install e2

Thank you Triplex, tried it out... Soooooo easy to sort out HDD with Sifteam Extreme and with boot plus, I've got it sorted.

May be of interest to somebody but while running Oscam and Crossepg on PKT9.9 I was finding it a little unstable, with long delays to access grid epg and random crashes. I was using a DGS image on Flash, which on boot was patitioning the hdd in 2, a small one to run Linux and then the larger one for recording etc. When I loaded Sifteam Extreme to flash I removed the small patition and loaded PKT 9.9 from Boot Plus on USB. The thing seems much more stable... no long delays and no crashing.

So far anyway!

with sif/dgs in flash you can run cccam emu.
with last act on usb you can run cccam.
and with other images (sif extreme,pkt) is very stable the incubus. :thum:
