Astra 28.2

Hi guys,

I've setup the 28.2 on my IpBox9000, but somehow i am not getting the Astra 2a/b South beam.

I'm seeing channels like Travel channel, CBS etc which are on 28.5 and have over 50% signal are all working good, but nothing from SkyUK.

Now i am not expecting to see the north beam 2D, but at least some of the South beam i.e Discovery etc, which show as 90% signal, but no picture, and Lyngsat shows quite a few channels available on South beam.

I did a auto-scan on the satellite but no luck.

Can any one shed a light into what extra is needed. I'm in eastern Europe and Astra south 2A/B covers a lot here and i have a 1.15cm dish with 0.2Db LNB.

I think i have some other problem. I posted another thread asking anyone with IPbox9000 to post their satellite.xml.

you say problems , was it missing channels from south beam or or reception problems as i think i have reception problems although i got a 1.8dish, eg im not getting truemovies on 28e well i am, no im not, yes i am,

Missing channels. Oh 1.8m dish in UK you should be flying man, check your satellites.xml do you have all frequencies.

for DGS it is embedded into the db.dat file, you have to use the Relook PC editor to import new sat data.

i have a full Sky UK (with favorites and sky channels numbers) file if you want it pm me and i will send you a link.
