Anyone tested VU+ App.

I have not seen this discussed on the forum so has anyone tried the VU+ App? Apparently it allows remote access to your box either on the same network or away from the home.

One of the more secure ways to remote access an E2 receiver is to have a PC on the same remote LAN as the E2 receiver.
You can use remote access software to access the PC and then use the the E2 receiver webif on the remote LAN.

Years ago when everyone was doing proper card sharing i set up a static ip address and opened my ports for portforwarding. I was able then to access to webif of the box but the internet was that slow back then that i was unable to stream the channels.
