Al Dardaneel TV, a channel to keep an eye on...

I found a post on Facebook that said that a channel called Dardaneel was showing the Barcelona v Bilbau match fta on 7.3w. I decided to find if it was true.
I wasn't able to receive the MENA beam on Eutelsat 7 West A, but I made some changes here and now it looks like I can, and I was able to find the channel and it was indeed showing the Supercopa match.
The quality wasn't very good, but it's rare for a fta channel on that sat showing live quality football, although it's not the firs time, last season Tobactos TV, on the same sat, showed some Serie A matches.
I will keep an eye on the channel, since the La Liga will start this weekend, maybe it will show some games...

I posted a video on YouTube of what i recorded, interesting to see that almost immediately after the final whistle they return to their original programs about bombs and stuff like that.

After yesterday's Supercopa match, the Libyan channel Dardaneel is now showing the Santiago Barnabeu Cup.
Like yesterday, the quality isn't very good, but this channel is becoming a good promise for this football season.

I still can't get a lock but my strong 7.3W tp's are only at TM 48-51% atm > Fox <> Fox Movies <> Oman <> Qatar

How much weaker than these channels is it ? (or slighly different beam/position for you?). Noticed it used to be available at 21.6E but nowhere other than 7.3W now as far as I can see/find (Lyngsat/Flysat/King of Sat).

But 7.3W Nilesat i can lock on Dardaneel Transponder but with only 31% on my TM5402M3 its not strong enuff to find anything with a scan .
few other TP's are like that too kinda fringe signal very weak and tweaking my 2M Prime focus dish by a degree and signal is totally gone ..not an easy freq to get a good lock on it seems and looking @ milvas.ms youtube video's it seems like signal is only just okay as there is some pixelations i noticed so signal must be weak enuff too ??

Think I'll try to ger a lock on this transponder later on tonight (way too cloudy atm). Best time of day is always after 11pm at night weather permitting to see what your possibilities are.

This transponder 11680h is one of the weaker ones for me also changing it slightly to 11678h with tm 5402 mk3 like barney brings in some signal but not enough to lock. Used to get in good weather ok but since the sr was changed very hard to pull in.

Well, looks like there won't be more football on Al Dardaneel TV.
According to some forums, the channel was showing a message this morning informing the viewers that due to the recent illegal football broadcasts, (since they were re-streaming a football stream from the internet and they dont have any tv rights for any football competition) they had been warned to stop or the channel would be shut down, and as so, they will stop broadcasting live football.

About the signal, that's indeed on of the weakest transponder of that beam, and since the Santiago Barnabéu Cup (I was getting a very low signal, just 25-27%) I have not been able to get any signal again.

Lol, nice find by yourself, but picture is terrible, i wouldnt watch that footbal even if thats the only channel on earth
