I installed this version of E2

Can I get an explanation step by step how to install Adons?


(I tried to install through telnet and got an error message read-only file system)

Ok, I tried to install the addons file. It's easy: in the addonsfile, you'll find the file ADD2? In this file, you'll find 2 other files: VAR and USR. Simply open an FTPprog. and copy and/or replace the existings file in your decoder by these two files. Then reboot the decoder. You can find the emu manager here: Main Menu > Plugins > PKT Emu Manager.

just unzip the file on your pc which is Addons.zip

you will see 2 files add2.tar.gz and add2_install.sh

login with ftp to your box

transfer the files in /tmp add2.tar.gz... add2_install.sh

make sure you set the permission to add2_install.sh chmod777

now login with telnet to the box

cd /tmp
ls
you should see add2_install.sh in green that means you can run the script

now type

./add2_install.sh

let the box finnish do not touch anything box will reboot auto

pls note this addon not working properly box crashing many times on same option pkt panel.....

i have mod part of the emu manager and other start up scripts now working fine....maybe i can upload it here lather on....

I read that you have updates versions of the panels and managers. Is there any chance i could also install these on my box?
