The ESPN frequency from 40.5W seems to get a bit of interest?
On a PF dish it has a signal level that varies depending how close the feed is to the dish and how far along the feed the scalar is.
There is a table below that shows the changes in signal level I measured today when adjusting the feed postion and the scalar for a PF dish.
Key:
F (0) = focal distance of dish
F - 5mm = feed is 5mm closer to the dish than the focal distance
F + 10mm = feed is 10mm further away from the dish than the focal distance
Scalar (mm) is the distance in mm of the scalar from the feed opening.
dB values are +/- values when compared to the global average of all measurements taken.
There is a cluster of feed/scalar positions where the signal level is maximised.
