not at all. just tried explaining on some technical background about H264 4.2.2 streams. i do not even watch these

on rx8200 I cannot choose 16 and 32 APSK modulation even though I have an active license.

The modulation type is choosen by the receiver automatically.
If I remember correctly, you must choose only between DVB-S2 or DVB-S2X (if you have the S2X license).

Yesterday I connected rx8200 to a new internet router. I don't know why the settings restarted and now every time I restart it there are factory settings. The device does not want to save the settings.

Try to boot the RX8200 pressing and holding the right arrow key on the front panel.
It does mean: press and hold the key, while holding down start the receiver, then release the key when the boot process has begun.
Doing so, the RX8200 loads the second firmware stored in the receiver flash memory.
Doing the same operation a second time, you will be back to the first firmware.
Try this and check what it does happen.
