I was making the point 1.16 is not working as well for autobiss as the older 1.12 firmware did.
You could try a blank softcam file with no keys at all and see if that make i difference as in your case it seem to give problems when adding the key to it.

i was under the impression if you had PT1.16 that you could not roll back to earlier PT Versions ??
for me the Virak Sat 4K has never been much good at all with BISS AU pretty much always a waste of time
at least since PT 1.12 .
The GT Media V8 UHD is a little bit better but plenty times i see it fail to find any CW key also
same with GT Media V8X box , My very old Starsat2000HD Hyper is by far the best very good with finding 100% of Feed Keys even with very weak signal and 4:2:2 format .

Most of the recent updates are bad in Autoroll, including the ALI processor. Therefore, it is better to return to the updates before the end of the season in month 5. The problem is general and not only on Viark. Perhaps the next updates will solve the biss Autoroll problem.

Thanks for this as I would also like to go back to a PT prior to 1.16. I am thinking
1.14 or 1.15.
I have the PTs, but where and how can I get hold of the standard factory firmware?

Unless you want the 28e feeds that there seem plenty of lately, and the feeds on 16e

There are few channels that use Biss encryption If you are a fan of feeds, this is very important to you "Autoroll Biss "

Well, this is my only issue with autobiss, all other feeds that I tested was ok. Maybe I was a little bit lucky, but it is.

Everyone else on 1.16 seems to have auto biss issues apart from you, so yes maybe a bit lucky?

I just tried to update the firmware on my Viark Sat (not 4K).
I got this error message>>
E pt ha expirado. pongase en contacto conelconcessionario local paracomprar un nuevo modelo.
Which translates as >>
E pt has expired. Contact your local dealer to buy a new model.
The box is then frozen, I have to pull the plug.
I shall keep fiddling for a while longer.

From what fw to what fw, I went to 2.18 few days back, then back to 2.16 sunday.
I did factory reset before and after loading fw.
I went from 1. Something to 2.13 and then tried 2.18.
I am going to try an original s/w and then the latest PT s/w.
