Kaka close to deciding future
Milan midfielder expected to announce future on Monday
Brazil superstar Kaka has announced that he will make his decision on whether to join Real Madrid or stay at AC Milan in the near future.
The 27-year-old was speaking after he had helped Brazil to a comfortable 4-0 World Cup qualifying win in Uruguay and is said to be ready to reveal his plans for the future on Monday.
Zinedine Zidane, now an advisor to Real Madrid, stated last week that a deal to bring the former World Player of the Year to the Bernabeu was all but done, however, Milan are set to hold talks with their star man on Monday at the latest.
Owner Silvio Berlusconi will sit down with the player and his father in what is seen as the last chance to persuade the Brazilian to stay at the San Siro.
Berlusconi and Milan will cling to the fact that Kaka rejected the lure of Manchester City in January, but many expect the former Sao Paulo youngster to join the new regime at Real under president Florentino Perez.
"I will speak about my future soon," he told the South American media. "In the right moment I will speak about it."
