top man, thanks again for your helpSymbol Rate and Polarity V/H will not need to change when manually adding its just the FREQ
adding the 3 Zero's at the end like i showed is all that is needed : )
one last question, do you enter the CW after you have a successful lock of transponder? I havent got a live example to try this out or play aroundSymbol Rate and Polarity V/H will not need to change when manually adding its just the FREQ

brilliant, all making sense now, thank you, i will then tackle reducing the delay times in live sporting events i think this is possible with certain configrations in VLCYES JUST COPY/PASTE CW Key After you lock and scan the Feed/Channel
if feed is 4:2:2 and BISS Encrypted then need to use LAV Filter Codecs to see picture
if feed is 4:2:0 and BISS Encrypted after copy/paste CW Key picture will display instantly : )
LAV Codecs Latest version => LAV Codecsanyone know where to obtain LAV Filter Codecs for vlc media player, no link online seems to be working
Thanks
How do you incorporate these filters within VLC? i want to stream 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 via vlc player. i can stream 4:2:0, but not sure how to get 4:2:2 via vlc player thanksLAV Codecs Latest version => LAV Codecs
thank you for this. good to knowNo need for any codecs or filters if you want to watch with vlc, because vlc not use anything else than own internal libraries.
Vlc plays 4:2:2 as well as 4:2:0
Unless the feed is in 4:2:2 chroma format a decent satellite receiver will be OK, no need to stream.Guys, what player is the best for the lowest latency of streaming football matches? is it still the case of vlc player and optimizing? or are other players better suited?
Thanks
Thank you, yes the plan is to get an RX8200 with low delay and BISS enabled. what intrigued me is when i read some saying that they could match the latency with a pcie sat card to that of a RX8200.Unless the feed is in 4:2:2 chroma format a decent satellite receiver will be OK, no need to stream.
For 4:2:2 feeds VLC is possibly as good as any, unless you want to get an RX8200 IRD (Ericsson/MediaKind) and get to grips with learing how to operate one.
For general viewing of 4:2:2 feeds I would use VLC, for wages I would use an RX8200.

my only concern in investing in a receiver is the future with many moving to BISS 2 encryption
would appriciate your thoughts on this
Thanks
