Morning........looks like results with the Geant OTT 7750 4K.........if so, never compared its tuner sensitivity but seeing your 'fringe' results must be rated ok. 👍

In my opinion, the Geant OTT 750 4K does not have a sensitive tuner. I have found it to be one of the more modest tuners I use for testing.
It just happens the Geant has IKS and pours gravy to clear some encryptions, that is why I used it for this test.

Just my personal opinion but the dish size, dish Az-El alignment and polarity skew contribute much more than a receiver tuner.
The GTMedia Combo seems to have a more sensitive tuner than the Geant. However, with standard firmware I am not sure if the GT Media Combo has IKS for Nova so I did not use it for the test?

@moonbase have you moved the dish east-west or have touched something also about the elevation?

@moonbase have you moved the dish east-west or have touched something also about the elevation?

I manually fine tuned the Azimuth (East/West) and Elevation using an adjustment system that has a resolution accuracy of 0.06 degrees.

My procedure was to record the signal level in dB over an East/West range using 0.06 degree adjustments so that I come into the satellite on one side, pass through it and come out on the other side. I then look at the dB levels and see where they were in the adjustment scale that gave the strongest level and return the dish to that point. The procedure is repeated for Elevation.

For skew, I set the LNB at somewhere close to the theoretical skew value for the satellite at my location, usually to within 0.3 degrees.
There is more tolerance on polarity skew so if I am within 0.5 degrees I leave it at that.

To close out on my testing of the frequencies on the South East beam of 13.0E I checked the five unlockable Vivacom's and the one unlockable Nova with a spectrum analyser.
These frequencies are all present and can easily be seen with a spectrum analyser. However, they are quite a way below the level required for a lock.

I have attached some spectra pictures of these six unlockable frequencies below, pictures in ascending order of frequency.
That probably concludes my testing on the South Eastern beam.

Dish Location: South East UK.

i got an ER2 Msg on my Vbox as i was trying to catch that Nova GR TP
i replaced my Reed switch but no good still ER2 ...made new F Connector on LNB no use either
it was raining a lot earlier and only stopped a few hrs ago did not get much chance to try a lot else
i only got home a half hour ago but earlier i manually moved arm to 7E and let it sit there around 11am this morning , i do have a new 36" Arm i got delivered few days ago
but i just tried to move Arm again and low and behold its moving fine again ....i'll try again in daylight when i have time as i have marked the Arm so i can put it back to where it was before the ER2 happened , i was seeing a very, very close Lock on 13E 11804 V 30000 earlier but due to the Vbox ER2 dish did stick to 13E and not even move 1 step , so i'll be able to make adjustments when its daylight now dish and Superjack arm moves again and see if i lock that elusive 11804 TP
But VIVACOM at 4-6db is way too weak to even pick up a spike let alone a lock understandable now why its so easy for members a lot further east locations than we are @moonbase .
Good testing once again my friend you have achieved a good goal in locking one very important Freq and shown the others are out of reach which is great progress and great information all together .
Cheers !

Good luck with 11804V, very nice catch for so far West if you can manage it, the Nova's and Vivacom's all need 9.4dB to get over the line.

In my tests I found the Dr HD F15 receiver would not work on these feeds but a Geant Android receiver locked them OK. The Dr HD F15 keps showing a red signal level indicator below lock level when the spectrum analyser and the Geant Android receiver had locked the Nova's.

Changes happen every day.
Current status:

But the thread is focused on revenue opportunities rather than the provider's content offering.

Frequency 11804 with 16.20 dB is very high

Can you take pictures of your attempt to receive and adjust your dish?

You are in Libya @barney115 is in Eire

100% agreed.

We all know it is easy for anyone in the footprint beam to receive the Nova and Vivacom frequencies from the South East Beam of 13.0E.
The point made by @barney115 is that for people outside of the footprint beam it is difficult to receive these frequencies.

For people in Ireland or the UK these frequencies are not easy to receive. That is the point.

12520V is left to operate for the holidays with basic channels, as long as people who have not yet switched to 13E are not without TV. After the new year, 12520 will be turned off
