Hi,

Is there an advanced configuration menu for the LNB set up? I'm looking to install a motorised dish, and possibly add in a single dish for one satellite (as the motorised may have its view blocked).

A user from another forum gave me this info on how to set it up.

Receiver connects to Motor
Motor connects to Diseqc Switch
Diseqc Switch connects to motorised and fixed dish

and the below would be set up for each Satellite

Sequence repeat------------------no
Command order--------------------committed,toneburst
Uncommitted Diseqc Command-----None
Diseqc Repeats-------------------None
Longitude------------------------

Latitude-------------------------

Use Usals for this sat-------------Yes

Fixed

Configuration Mode Advanced

Satellite--------7 west
LNB------------------------------LNB 2
Priority-------------------------Auto
LOF------------------------------Universal LNB
Voltage mode---------------------Polarization
Increased voltage----------------no
Tone mode------------------------Band
DiSEqC mode----------------------1.0
Toneburst------------------------None
Committed DiSEqC command---------AB

So this is from an enigma2 box, I was wondering if there is any way to do this on the Viark

Many thanks

You can setup sat positions individually each position can have option for usuals. Diseqc 1.2 1.1 etc.

Id need to take a look through the options later when im in front of it to see if a switch could be configured as you would in e2.

If not you could always use an A/B switch.

Thanks.

For the moment, I am looking to connect a second lnb. Is it just a case of scanning the channels in the configuration menu or do I need to do anything special in the set up menu for the Diseqc options? (I don't want to damage the LNBs by making a mishap).

I'm using a TM-4S Technomate 4-way Diseqc switch.

You wont damage an LNB just experiment with the Diseqc 1.1 option on the second LNB.
