Yea thanks, scanned the transponder and it came in, not sure what happened as only scanned the last time they moved?

Would a blind scan have picked this up?

Also what is a network scan?

My Viark Droi has a fault, the sat signal strength is stuck at 28% and flicks to 0. The lnb is fine as if I plug it in to my tv I am able to get freesat. Does anyone have any ideas, has my box died?

Have you checked your LNB settings as a first step ?

Yeah, they are all good. I have 3 lnbs, whichever one i switch to and whichever channel i switch to, the signal stays on 28%. Even with a direct feed and the diseq turned off, same thing.

Do you have a signal meter?
What size is your dish?
What make and brand are your LNBs?

If you have access to a signal meter, and can reposition the dish, then it might be worth trying to point the dish to 19.2E which is a powerful satellite.

Use flysat, lyngsat or KingOfSat to note suitable and powerful transponders on 19.2E. A good one to try would be....
TP Freq = 12188, Pol = H, S/R = 27500, FEC=3/4. This is also a DVB - S1 Transponder so tends to be easier to lock than S2.

Then connect to your Viark Droi and see what happens.

Additionally, it may be well worth you reloading the default factory firmware and starting your set up again. This is not patch software,
but the latest standard firmware.

I hope the above suggestions prove to be of some help, but keep us informed of your progress.

Cheers.

Just wanted to add that it is possible that your dish is currently slightly out of alignment with 28.2E and hence the cause of your loss of signal.

It is worth checking that the dish is optimally aligned.

Something is amiss either stb is faulty, or settings need reinputting or cable issues or switch etc, as it works direct to tv.

I clearly missed that point that he made. So yes, maybe something else.
Sounds simple, but I was also thinking to check that the LNB settings within the Viark are set to Universal, etc.
